Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 11, 2026

1. Overview

KeyJump replaces the new tab page with a personalized launcher for bookmarks and search shortcuts. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and who it is shared with. We do not collect your browsing history — only the shortcuts you save and the search inputs you choose to run in KeyJump.

If you do not create an account, no data is collected by KeyJump servers. Everything lives locally in your browser.

2. Data We Collect (with an account)

KeyJump uses no analytics and sets no tracking cookies — neither on the website nor in the extension.

3. How We Use Data

4. Data Storage

Cloud data is stored in Supabase (authentication, database and file storage). The app also stores your document, cached site icons and session tokens locally in your browser, for performance and to keep everything working offline and account-free.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with service providers required to run KeyJump: Supabase (authentication, database, storage) and — only if you choose to sign in with them — Google and/or GitHub as OAuth providers. Site icons are loaded from the websites themselves or an icon service, then cached locally.

6. User Control

7. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account exists, unless you delete it. Local data is yours and can be cleared through your browser or Settings → Data.

8. Security

We use Supabase security controls and row-level access policies so only you can read your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

KeyJump is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date and post the revised policy at keyjump.app/privacy.html.
